Not your Top 5 favorite albums or albums that everyone has heard, please none already regarded as classic. This is top 5 albums that deserve way more recognition than they get, deep cut albums

Ramona Park Broke My Heart
My personal favorite album all time. I liked it initially but left rotation. Lost my gf and couldn’t care to listen to music or watch tv I literally just walked all day for a week and tried to listen to music but would turn it off immediately. When I tried this album I felt a connection, I heard the grief that I had in my voice in Vince’s tone. Beyond that there’s not a wasted bar on the album. I feel like the album has everything, and it’s done in a traditional hip hop non weirdo type of way that is really missing in music these days. Vince’s best beats and hooks and concepts. Bar after bar

Benny The Butcher - Plugs I Met 2
Easily Bennys best project and all you could really want from him. I saw this project get s*** on which is mind boggling cause I feel a lot of the same ways Ramona Park as this. Front to back bar after bar, great hooks, great features from rappers I don’t even like, and the beats…I don’t care for a lot of Harry Fraud beats but these are all next level they really make this album feel like a visually stunning mob movie.

Pharaohe Monch - W.A.R.
Again I remember seeing people rank this last in his discography but it’s by far his best to me. Relistened to it recently and i was expecting to not vibe with it in the gym and song for song it’s Pharoahes best lyrics and production and concept execution.
Maxo - Lil Big Man
This sound usually puts me to sleep pretty quick but it’s such a classic sound. Not much to say, great songs that make a great album and it just feels like a classic. I would be fine sending this album to the aliens
RealLiveAnimals - Save for a rainy day
First off, terrible name he went as Pussidxn or something like that when it dropped which is still bad but better. This again just feels like a classic even though it’s not really known about. Such great love songs. There’s like 1 track that is pretty bad, besides that it’s all great songwriting and top teir raps for an Asian or white rapper(idk what he is) Told like 3 girls How to get your girl back would be our wedding song lol
Picking a Pharoahe Monch record that isn't Internal Affairs is ballsy
Best Benny record is Tuna Talk 4 though I think

I met Prince Po at a cypher in the tunnel of NC State. It was like 20 degrees and maybe 10 of us at most huddled together. He spit a rhyme that said his name in it and I googled to see what he looked like and it was him. I was like this dude is a legend but people didn’t pay it any mind, saw that happen a couple times where people didn’t give a f*** unless the persons name was 9th wonder or Rapsody or Jcole
