French food is really known for their contributions to methods/techniques of cooking rather than how great their food is. For example, pretty much any “signature sauce” from any fast food restaurant is most likely a derivative of mayonnaise. That’s just how far-reaching their influence is.

For real for real. They not even close at all and Ethiopian slaps indian for me. Obviously both are blessed but good indian can be found in damn near any corner of the globe. Ethiopian, at least where i live/travel, is a bit harder to lay hands on so that kinda brings it's rank up too imo. Also the best meal of my life was Ethiopian, shoutout Etíope Gonder in Madrid.
