I almost named kotor 1 but I try and forget about kotor 2 what a letdown
feel the exact opposite but different strokes 👍
Sekiro - An unmatched combat experience. To master and overcome Genichiro and then the final boss... Pure dopamine rush. People sleep on the story as well.
World of Warcraft (first 3 expansions) - The most addictive game of all time. People created whole lives in Azeroth. A world build to remain in for hours, days, years... You have to cold turkey it at some point in your life.
Red Dead Series - In some other timeline it's one of America's greatest literary works. But it's just some blokes from the UK deciding that video games can be a masterpiece in storytelling.
Metal Gear - I got introduced pretty late during 4. But it made me realize that games can be auteurial. Kojima executed his distinct personal style to worldwide success. Something I keep in mind to this day - 'what is the most personal is the most creative.'
FIFA - I don't play it anymore, but the OG versions from '03 - '14 created, destroyed or bound together friendships. We didn't even play online. We just got together with a bunch of mates and played tournaments against each other. It brought out the worst and the best out of us. Win or lose, you were gearing up for that next match. Thierry Henry '04 undefeated.
Super Smash Bros Melee / Ultimate
Virtua Fighter 5 (the smoothest fighting game ever made)
Metroid Dread
Monster Hunter Rise
Wave Race 64
Also Counter Strike GO (at its peak), the multiplayer James Bond game on Gamecube and M64
Super Mario Odyssey
Metroid Dread
Neon White
Persona 5
Bayonetta 2
Just off the top of my head, maybe i'll update this post with more games. Nice thread idea.
Edit: I'll add what i think game feel means. To me its the feeling of controlling the character, how you interact with the game design with said character, basically how It feels to play the game with the controller. To make it clearer, some examples of games with bad game feel would be drakengard, paper mario sticker star, witcher 3 and gta v
Nier Automata
God of War 2018 (you know you enjoyed throwing that axe and calling it back)
Max Payne 3
Insomniac's Spiderman
I always liken God of War 2018 to playing with a yo-yo and being good at it lol
Such good feeling gameplay

This list is the opposite of great game feel lol.
I’m talking about how, when you’re pushing buttons, controller in hands, it translates perfectly and flawlessly on screen. Meaning the combination of gameplay and sound design make everything you do satisfying.
Exemple : Mario 64. The controls are just so smooth. Just walking around feels satisfying.

Thanks for clarifying what game feel is because some people took the wrong assignment and talk about story etc…
The new Kirby : Air Riders presentation sparked the idea of this thread btw. Cause it looks totally top notch in terms of game feel

Battlefield 3 had to be one of the most immersive fps games of all time. Think about how many people were just there doing their own thing on operation firestorm. People having snipe-offs across the map, jihad jeeps cruising around, people playing the objective, tanks ominously roaming about, skilled pilots mowing people down in choppers getting a hundred kills a game. There was so much freedom and creativity to do what you want in that game it never got boring. BF4 was also the goat since it just improved upon 3
