Tbh, "let me kiss your eyes" was always a weird ass line to me but I understand what he means, it's just a strange thing to tell someone, ya know? I'd be laughing a nigga out the room if I heard some stupid s*** like that out loud, but it's LL, he can get away with stuff like that because of his image, voice, legacy, etc. IMO, he peaked with the Mr. Smith album but Phenomenon was always a guilty pleasure for me.

For sure. LL’s careers an interesting one looking back in 2021. He had the Hov longetivity before Hov, and he was catering towards the woman audience making love songs and getting criticized for it back when Drake was just a child.
