Cinematography and color lighting was also some of the best in a series season.

Real talk this was like an 8 hours movie, and they captured inner city life from a yout to a grown man beautifully

that's saying a lot.

nothing ever gonna touch the wheel of lives strung together in s01 trimmed down it would probably be better as movie and the soundtrack with mount kimbie - 50 mile view, f*** buttons track were all actual gems. s02 was mid cause they started adding cop and lawyer spokes to the wheel only to serve narratives rather than unfold their story into the mix.

s03 was fire but needed a bubbles spiraling off the effects of the d**** because this had the crime looking senseless, and the two junkies turning out to be cops just an easy excuse for no character development in that region. cool season nonetheless, reminded me a lot of the pusher trilogy the way they aged back in the third one.
