i feel like, especially in toronto lately, no one wants to help each other grow. everyone just wants to tear the others down, as if there can only be one.

and its weird because the music industry is connection and collaboration based. you can see this by looking at the biggest Toronto musicians. but I guess you can't bring the street mentality to the music world & expect great results
