Bad press is better than no press. Some people will still check out a project just to see if it deserved to get trashed by publications

So all the same people in the release thread convinced it was going #1 and harassing ppl in the thread about it are the same people arguing it’s actually a win? There’s no playlisting or promotion on DSPs and everything you see about Tory/the album is negative. If you can’t see how that would greatly affect sales idk what to tell you

The thing that impacts the numbers more is playlisting and radio- because you have the songs being streamed to casual listeners that maybe wouldn't have even known he had a project out
