What reasonable person would expect him to give any type of answer that could undercut his upcoming court battle?

I think there's only so much he can legally speak on outside of "I didn't shoot her" (which he did say on the album, probably before courts did more to him) due to a gag order and protective order.
The troll just wanted a moment and no real conversation and they were right to jump on him.
