There were times where you could hear the talent but it was mostly songs made to sell. Dumb uninteresting features etc.
Chixtape really was one of the better project he has dropped.
I really think he's not just saying this bc he wants to seem smarter or something.
I think he really was forced to make more music for the charts. Not for the fans!

DropDeadProtectionTo be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Tory Lanez's music The melodies are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of music theory most of the songs will go over a typical listener's head. There's also Tory's nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his songwriting - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these songs, to realize that they're not just beautiful- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Tory Lanez truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Tory's existential catchphrase "Fargo," which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev's Russian epic Fathers and Sons I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Daystar Peterson's genius unfolds itself on their iPhone 11s. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Tory Lanez tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
