Love Life UtopiaJail should be about rehabilitation, this is yet again another clear example of the system falling our black men and people of color in general. Instead of helping him learn what he did wrong and direct him towards facets that can lead him to be a better person, they’d rather lock him away in confinement.
Instead of saying “fuck that nigga” we should be learning about how this form of treatment is totally inhumane, not just for Tory, but for everyone who can’t defend themselves like he can and have even longer sentences for smaller offenses. He’s got the best on his team, and still can’t be heard? Come on now
It’s a f***ed up situation and I’m not supporting him or anything that happened, just from being to jail multiple times I already know he’s being treated unfairly and used as an example due to his profile

That’s easy to say when you’re an American from the suburbs living a comfortable life. Go to a 3rd world country where murders happen regularly because they go unpunished.
Our resources don’t need to be spent on rehabilitating hardened and violent criminals.

As a victim of racially biased police brutality multiple times now, I just can’t side with the police and feel we especially deserve forgiveness. I am not saying he was not entirely wrong for what he did to one of our women, I respect Megan so much and acknowledge the abuse she has suffered. I understand and relate some of the things she's talked about and how it's affected her health.
I am simply saying that as a result shouldn’t warrant him being used as an example to exercise the power the government truly has over us to silence us and let us not not be properly heard. While she stated her case and won, he also stated a case of his treatment, which had been cruel and unusual, especially considering his stance for a new case is based on inconclusive evidence that led to this verdict.
Nothing I am saying in anyway absolves him or suppresses Megan’s trauma. This whole case is very complicated, even with the verdict once you read the details.

Nobody told him to push the "Kelsey did it lol" defense including his own lawyer who had to quit because of it.
I agree that the justice system unfairly penalizes black bodies for the smallest of crimes and uses us as examples for how the government will dehumanize its own citizens.
Tory is not one of those cases.
If he had just listened to his 1st lawyer and followed his advice to the T at WORST bro doing only 5 years (and probably does half of that due to good behavior) for being an immigrant illegally in possession of a firearm that was used in shooting at another person
