We might all have access to the same things but the right has an alarming amount of loons sharing their perspectives rooted in delusion

Yeah which is weird because in mass media, it praises all kumbaya. It makes the right mad and go ape s*** on the internet.

But when they live in their own communities, they are the majority lol

I don't listen to any of the political media icons if that's what you mean. I just mean the general supporters and established parties. Look at the January insurrection for example.

Look at the last two Republican candidates before 2016 and compare them to any of the running candidates from 2016, I don't know how you could look at all that and then tell me critical thinking is now more present on the right.

you didn't even read the second part, most people im speaking of aren't even right just leaning right in 2021 because thats the only option they see for society before its lost.

  • Jul 28, 2021

Cancel culture ain’t real I agree there.

You're being too vague. You should probably start another thread in @politics Sxn explaining what you mean in detail

White liberals/ social justice is the biggest voice in media rn. That can't be argued. But the right seems to believe socialism is running the country.

It currently is "anti culture" if you're a bigot on mass media.

In your hometown or neighborhood it's still considered anti culture to be actually gay, trans, or anything but right wing white.

It's a weird conundrum because everyone sees the same s*** on the internet

    Neoliberals arent left
Thats the problem with politics these days everything is labeled falsely.
    Noeeoliberals are truly centrist

Neoliberals are not left wing. Both Democrats and Republicans can be neoliberal. Please learn the meaning of words before using them.

Right. Neoliberalism has to do with economic philosophy and upholding the tenets of capitalism at all costs. It's not a modern form of leftist thinking like the name might imply, and neoconservatives are not in "opposition" of neoliberals.

All people exposed, shamed, and fired, and for good reason. Don’t know how you can say it doesn’t exist or that it’s all bad. It doesn’t exist the way people have it in their minds but that s***s real. These companies want to use the social media medium to advertise, and if they want to be able to use that than they’re subject to the mob. Some s***s definitely gone too far like bringing up tweets from the teenage years of a newly drafted athlete, but some of this s***s been spot on.

Harvey Weinstein and Aziz Ansari too

Harvey yes but the Aziz one is kinda...eh

Awkward and uncomfortable but it's not on the level of the others really and I think he didn't get hit with many repercussions as a result.

its not about moving further right its about the right being the ones currently voicing anti establishment ideals. Were already f***ed, they played us people are too dumb and the dumbest of all have the biggest voices now.

So you’re just blindly anti establishment just to be anti establishment?

Why doesn’t nuance compute with niggas

    It’s either ‘real’ or ‘not’

Just because you don’t like the shot doesn’t mean it’s a myth that has to be statistically a***yzed and on the same hand, random twitter niggas saying someone’s cancelled just because they don’t like them doesn’t mean anything.

There’s a lot of motherfuckers who lost their livelihood based off ‘cancel culture’ and there are a lot of motherfuckers who brush off allegations.

It’s a dumb thing to get hung up on, if there’s sufficient evidence for your wrongdoing, you're done. If not it’s just talk. Simple s***.

It's tough because I think most comedians are saying stuff they think will make us laugh as opposed to saying stuff with bad intentions.

But you really shouldn't be saying chinks, doing racist accents, or using gay slurs. lol it happened in 2019 and he really should've known better.

Personally I think if he would've actually apologized he should've been able to keep his SNL job but

Only about 30 percent of US citizens are on twitter too

That’s actually way more than I assumed would be on Twitter tbh of course the other stat makes it meaningless but I thought it’d be a lot lower than 30%.
