This is just an immense oversimplification though and only applies to skills that you can learn on your own/internet (I.e. fixing up a car, etc.). Most other things require inherent ability and drive, punctuality and accountability, structured education, one on one expert guidance, and a lot of luck too. You can’t just throw your console out the window and decide to be an astronaut.

Fix the system that isn’t giving many of these kids the attention and opportunity they deserve instead of laying the blame on the little enjoyment they get of escaping this mid world with their friends.
