Is the United Center in Chicago in a really bad part of town? A friend who lives in Chicago told me it’s near Southside which is a very rough area.

from what i’ve read you’ll be fine.
August 8th gonna be my 12th time seeing him
Any estimate on how much tickets will be in the 100’s section at United Center? Trying to stay around $200. I don’t want to spend more than that.
I wanna go but got no friends that listen to him
My first Weeknd concert I was in the same boat. Last minute I said F it and went solo, and it was my favorite concert BY FAR out of any show I've ever been to, out of hundreds of shows. Would recommend it, and certainly if it's a go alone vs. not going at all! <3
what show yall planning on going to? think i'm going to Detroit or DC
Vancouver BC and maybe Tacoma, WA or Portland. I live in Seattle but his shows in Canada have had a different vibe- more intimate than the same show in Seattle. Plus we got to meet everyone except Abel before the show and my daughter got pics with Patrick, Cash, Ricky. and Lamar. I'm so freaking excited!!!!!!!!

Holy s***, I think you win! That's badass

wtf? you'll be absolutely fine, it's not in a bad area at all. this is from someone who's lived in the southside

actually I just did the math and this will be the 12th time
I'm a fraud haha, took me a while to remember each time
I've seen him at festivals 3 times, on tv twice (like I went to the taping of the performance) and on tour 6 times
1 time for every chapter expect mdm and then I saw him for KOTF and before Trilogy
he's def been my favorite artist for years and I like that I've been able to see him perform stuff he never does anymore

Its not southside lmao its literally 5 minutes from when you enter the city
tickets go on sale the 28th.
Not when available..,prices. Want to get a local VIP ticket and a ticket to see him in Miami...
only thing I don't like about weeknd shows is how he has a seated pit
kinda takes away from the experience of the show.
Ok so instead of seeing him in Chicago, I’m actually going to see him at Staples Center in LA since I’ll actually be there for vacation that week. Is buying tickets from that venue pretty easy compared to Ticketmaster? I’ve only bought tickets from Ticketmaster.
When I went to the Ticketmaster page for that show it directs me to the Staples Center website. Will I be able to choose a specific seat?
Since I am going to the first LA show, which site should I buy a ticket from? Staples Center, AXS, or LiveNation?
Do I need a presale code for the presale?

Staples doesn’t sell tickets at the box office until the Monday after they go on sale if I recall correctly. You’d be risking all the good seats being gone by then
