just copped some Kaytranada tickets for the heck of it

Ok, I went to the August 6 show in Miami with nosebleed seats & this is by far the greatest concert I have ever experienced.

Yeezus tour which I attended with VIP floor seats in Boston is the only thing that comes close but I think the crowd couldve been better in that city whereas Abels crowd in Miami was on another level.

One thing abt nosebleed seats as everyone knows is lack of space lol n I generally dont wanna be that close to random ppl because of Covid & other personal factors.

So… after Kaytranada’s phenomenal set, I ended up moving to a lower area where you can just stand up and had a way better view with plenty of space to dance n sing along.

His unmasking was so dope, the mask itself reminded me of Phantom of the Opera & I totally get why he said he wants his shows to feel like an opera experience.

I really loved the stage version of certain songs espc Faith, Take My Breath, Wicked Games & Crew Love.

Less Than Zero is my fav song on Til Dawn FM & was one of the songs he performed in almost the exact same way it is sonically arranged on the studio version which was awesome.

Overall, the sound production was phenomenal but I would love to somehow have been able to hear it from different sections and see what it sounded like from there.

Being a longtime Weeknd fan it was fulfilling hearing this kind of music played on the highest professional level. I have so much respect for his artistry, creative discipline and determination.

The show was so well planned and the transitions between each track done so precisely I hope they release footage of rehearsals one day because it’s def a huge feat to pull off the greatness I witnessed.

Anyways, If you get a chance to go to one of the shows def do because you won't regret it.
