My biggest gripe with TOG is no one is ever at full power. There is always an explanation as to why they are not at full power. Even now, White, who is at full power, can’t use that power for long.

I think the best explanation for this is that the power system needs to be balanced.

if everyone went at 100% with each fight then they'd need ''training arcs'' to explain the next power-up like in most mangas/webtoons

if that was the case, the whole point of moving up tower levels and mastering shinso would be pointless.
