It ruined the legacy tho, 3 was so obviously the end and 4 is a tacked on money grab

Plus I don’t see how it was fantastic, woody’s whole motivation felt so artificial and weird to me.

Like I know he’s a loyal toy, but the way they turned it into an obsessive compulsion of protecting the kid in 4 and making that the whole story felt like flanderization and b******ization of woody tbh

And that feature is just exaggerated so he’ll leave at the end with the “oh bonnies ok you can leave”, that arc leading to woody leaving his friends didn’t feel true to me

I thought TS4 was fun, it just needed a bit more Buzz.

I thought Toy Story 4 was gonna be hot garbage because Toy Story 3 wrapped up the series perfectly, but I was surprised by how good it was. I'll go in with an open mind for this new one.
