I know some of yall think its corny to praise tpab cuz of the criticbait s*** but this album is really amazing dammit
G funk soul jazz hiphop all my fav genres used perfectly, the message, story tellings, sincerity, the whole concept and structure.
Its really special too cuz i usually listen to my fav albums all the time randomly but i listen to tpab only when i need it and it makes it more special imo. Amazing art piece. Kendrick really up there

thats exactly what i was talking about
Yall letting them nerds prevent u from appreciating this classic
S*** just came out in Turkey y’all let him live they don’t got internet there
Tpab is one of the greatest albums of all time. It’s lame how some people reduce it to “trauma p***” on here but will never hold certain street rappers to that same criticism. But that’s a different topic.

I was literally on ktt when tpab leaked son. Reported for racism
hot take
Imma sleep now but there are more common things im getting from this album as a discriminated minority living in middle east. The message im this album is stronger and bigger than just black experience. We might not get the exact same message and it might not be direct but struggle is universal
No replay value
How come I listen to it every year?
Really good and cool album but as someone who’s “otherness” is invisible (LGBT, mental illnesses, but otherwise able bodied white guy in America) I am less commonly discriminated against for being “other,” and sometimes I feel like I’m intruding on something not made for me
Everybody discrediting the album ITT right now is EXACTLY who you’d think it be discrediting it.
Album is a 10/10 and one of the best albums of the 2010s period. Not gonna wait for something to happen to Kendrick to give it its flowers that’ll get decades from now.
All I see is factual statements by op
I remember when the meaning of certain songs just clicked for me. Music is amazing sometimes
