Crine I was literally just thinking the other day about how Mona Lisa was one of the best R&b singers from the 90s that dont get brought up when people talk about that era.

T-Pain was more influential without a doubt but his music was FAR from better.

The reason T-Pain is more influential is because the style of music he made showed anybody regardless if you had actual vocal talent or not could be successful if you knew how use DAWs to your advantage.

Usher isn’t as influential as it is hard to recreate the vocals he brought in combination with the choreography.

Usually the most influential people are the easiest to replicate.

Peep his avy, he’s either an alt or needs guidance

To say whether T-Pain or Usher had the more memorable/better music is debatable but to say Usher had more influence than him in music is down right ludicrous

Can't recall one musician influenced by Usher, and don't say Bieber gtfo

old bump but Main reason Tpain was peak auto tune is cause he actually had melodies and groove to his music, which is a characteristic not everyone has

bc he was one of the first artists to become a meme. through no fault of his own really, he just had a style that easily became a laughingstock. the auto-tune hate kinda swept T-Pain up too. very creative and under appreciated discography.
