Kinda think detox was in the works from 2002-2012ish and then sputtered out with the exception of maybe some sessions with Ambrosius and other close Dre affiliates. It sounds like work on the album was most active in like 2005-2011 ? When the singles dropped, Ross, Wayne, and Kanye had worked on it, etc.
