Evian Christ was until recently still best known as the young hip hop producer who worked on the majority of Yeezus and got signed to GOOD for a while based off a random youtube upload, or for the occassional rap production like on Danny Brown's Atrocity Exhibition.

but for over now more than a decade his primary creative outlet has been TranceParty, returning to his first love, UK rave music. in particular ofc the at that point still popular to hate trance genre, but also in the spirit of the "deconstructed" school of club he probably learned about through fellow Yeezus producer Arca, marrying that with a love for hip-hop, noise and everything experimental. TP was born out of a frustration with club booking, with Evian realizing he has to put on his own party to get to see his friends and favorite artists get the proper platform. it's all about peak euphoria, fog going strong and strobes on maximum power, blasting the hardest club music imaginable.

it's actually a crazy influential party for bringing together OG deconstructed club people like TP regular Total Freedom, or Arca, next to PC Music crowd like SOPHIE, later on Himera and umru, next to the Swedish Drain Gang producers like Yung Sherman, Gud, Varg and then also the whole ambient trance side of things with Malibu and Torus and always in for a good surprise bringing rappers, from Travi$ Scott at a very early one to makina at recent one in Glasgow I went to, or tonight in London bringing out Wraith9.
I think it's time to make a thread to have a place to share and discuss the wealth of incredible material born from TP already.

not officially TranceParty but might as well be - Torus' Laak club just announced EC / Femi / Torus lineup on the 25th in Den Haag, Torus has been bragging to me before about having the best sound system in the Netherlands. so ready

just took a trip to Glasgow a couple weeks ago too to see Yung Sherman and 500 TP, Scottish crowd was absolutely world class vibes, only the sound could've been better, super stoked for this
