I'm willing to admit that I'm not informed on the topic, but I don't think you and OP are either. My main issue is how you guys are claiming that trans women have a definite athletic advantage over cis women. It seems like articles like the one this thread is about gets attention to push that narrative. That's why I asked if you're presented with statistics that proves the contrary, is your opinion changing. If trans women who compete with cis women are winning close to 50% of the time and losing close to 50% of the time, that's just sports

Yes we do know trans women are more athletic and stronger than women because they went through puberty as men, that is being proven in weightlifting, swimming, cycling, track events time and time again the discourse I wanted to have was surrounding how a competitive league that looks at the science of transitioning and the hormones involved to come up with the best compromise that allows women to be able to compete and trans people to also have a platform to compete: which is the thought process many athletes in the media are also aligned with. You can try and paint me as having a bigoted agenda but I don’t, I’m just critiquing the situation. Edit: I’ll add that ima leave this here, I try and discuss this topic with good intentions but once again it becomes an accusation exercise.

Because that's the main issue I have with what you're saying, like it's an objective fact that they're more athletic. If you can provide me with that, then I'll agree that trans women shouldn't be competing with cis women. Because right now I don't know and I think you haven't seen data to know that either, other than a few stories like this one that inevitably makes headlines to push a narrative
