I grew up having parents that didn’t have much but always made a bit of a budget to do some traveling, usually road trips. This year, I have one trip/vacation planned per month. It’s an ambitious goal but so far, I made them all happen. Inspired me to make a travel thread.

Let’s talk about some places everyone’s traveled, wants to travel or lives in that has recommendations for visiting and things to do.

So far this year: Las Vegas, Arizona, Tulum & Seattle (city trip, planning the ourdoorsy side of it for next time)

Maui
Utah (Zion, Bryce & Sand Hollow for fishing)
December: some kind of mountain snow trip, have a few options I’m playing with

this summer i will explore cool places, i haven’t planned anything yet but my goal is to just take a bus or something to somewhere and have fun

Going to Prague next month and looking for a trip through Croatia in June. I like a healthy variety of nature, nightlife & culture in my trips. Adventures are always great.

Croatia is beautiful. Been there a few times. They have nice beaches from what I remember, it’s been a while since I’ve been last

I have Japan on my list but the tickets are like $1500 ☠️☠️☠️☠️

I really wanna go to South Korea this year with my brother and his gf (she’s from there)

Declined the invitation to come there & also go to Vietnam last year and regret it so badly

Might go to South Korea if I can’t do japan

He went to Okinawa two years ago in combination with his SK trip

Saw the pics & immediately knew I had to be at those exact spots someday, looked immaculate

I want to go to South America

See it all before its gone because we had to see it all.

ID90 is the best, $60 to Japan so so soon
