Think there’s defo too much of a focus on travel in society, too many people use travel as a means to show how well rounded and adventurous they are, even tho everyone goes to the exact same places.

My fav travel story was a girl from uni who spent weeks on Facebook going on and on about this amazing adventure she was going on and how brave she was to go travelling on her own. All her friends were commenting supporting her like you go girl.

I’m there expecting her to be off travelling the other side of the world, hiking through the wilderness for 6 months.

But no she went to a 5* all inclusive resort and chilled by the pool for a week or two 💀💀
