I never understood the hate, that album is so trippy

No other rap album in recent memory has such a wide and interesting feature list: FKA Twigs, Blood Orange and Frank Ocean to highlight.

It wasn’t a bloated, 20+ track album to pump numbers and the production had a wide range. I just think it was corny to call it “Testing” like very on the nose, Rocky wanted to either brace the impact for rap listeners or wanted praise off the bat for experimenting rather than letting it come naturally.

And Rocky is not thinking about Travis whatsoever...

Honestly this, the aesthetic for that project was pretty interesting & you go and ham hand it with the title, it’s middling project ultimately
