nobody wants to play a game about getting kanyes mom to heaven.
its that simple
Silent Hill is a game about people slowly coming to terms with the fact that they have died and are in hell.
Agreed, it's like he just went on Ableton and chose the "Flattenator" compression effect. The mixing is loud on it.
Ever since it dropped I always knew something sounded "off" with the whole album and I'm just now learning that "off" sound is called over compression lmao. I'm noticing even more now too
That’s where the disconnect is
I don’t think he ever had any form of substance in his entire career and nothing much has changed about his music except the singles and features. Even in 2015 niggas were going in on his Pray 4 Love verse because he was pretending to have substance

Lol, yeah that's where it sounds about right bro. That being said, I actually love deep compression when I'm listening to music while driving or at parties/bars because you WANT to get those speakers BUMPING and able to hear every part of the song but when actually trying to enjoy and take in a song paying attention to it, over-compression is EXTREMELY annoying...

Yeah I always thought he was just saying bs stuff that sounded neat. I just liked the beats and flows back then more
Travis scott is in the same category for me as Akademiks, Joe Budden, 6ix9ine and few others who’s sudden popularity I just can’t wrap my head around.
Like I know he has the twink white boy hypebeasts culture in a head lock rite now, but why even that? Like how did that even happen?
Mans really cashing out before some new trendy artist overtakes his pop culture influence. Smart.

Travis only has bare substance on OP and DBR, and on those barely any. Anything past Rodeo 0 substance lol

Yea that’s really all it comes down to
Like I be feeling like niggas r capping when they say why they don’t f*** with him anymore cause they be saying it for the most invalid reasons. Tbh, it’s okay to just say u grew apart from his music as time went on, or that u think it’s corny now, those two reasons are more valid than “he doesn’t have substance anymore” because that was never his selling point
Bro was talking bout some “balenciaga yarmulke” in 2013, and “wanna know if my d*** longer than a Pringle box” in 2015. Meanwhile, KTT tells u those two years were him at his most substantial
said type beat game
like the same concept
all he has to do is make that s*** dark...

yeh he def wanna be the fastest younger billionaire
I feel like astrothunder was his attempt at that but it really kinda falls flat
Still like the song but it coulda been Astros 90210 or some s***

Yeah, OP has Naked which is one of Travis’ most poetic songs, DBR has Backyard and Don’t Play which touch on his background a lil bit
After Rodeo, the closest Travis gets to talking about his upbringing is mentioning how he “used to rock the fade” and now he has braids
Yeah this is true
Astroworld has NONE of that type of s*** now that I think about it. I guess he was going all in on the way the album sounds with that one. I don’t think we’ll get anything introspective from Trav till after UTOPIA
