Yes good example, if I worked for gaga I would have told her it's bad idea, wtf does she knows about cameras. And yes I don't think it helps her brand at all. You could have said that ppl who use poloraid were the same demographic as the people who listen to gaga, same thing for Travis with fortnite, same audience. But still a bad move on her part.
Like if Travis was as vocal about how he loved mcds as post Malone was for bud light then that would be fine by me. But never did I hear him say he loved a big Mac. He could like it personally but I know him as Travis Scott not as Jacques Berman Webster II.
If you don't get it still then you wouldn't get it. You don't even need to take a marketing class to understand the image of an artist and what that entails.
