Well Chedda da connect (guy who made look at the flicka da wrist) is don's manager and has his own imprint with Atlantic that Don signed to before he ever met travis. And then chedda connected don with cactus jack later on.
The astroworld feature did help get don some hype but most of his "blowing up" came from no idea getting pushed on tiktok, which was most likely from Atlantic cause all their other artists were getting viral tiktok sound at that time
