No city is invincible. Every city has their reign. Houston, Compton, NYC,Atlanta,Memphis, Detroit,
Some get the second time around because the city is so populated. But it is odd how frequently this happens in Hip Hop on the internet exclusively.
Like a city is dependent on Spotify/Billboard/ Award accolades outside of their circumference.
If anything Houston helped Hip Hop continue to thrive as a culture.
