If anything positive comes out of this for concert goers, it's a good thing and infinitely better than Travis coming out of hiding in a few years. People have died here, a hiatus wouldn't even be enough either.

The only thing that will come out of this already came out of it and it's this headline. Honestly, concert safety waited that long for Travis Scott to have an epiphany to be a thing ? Like come on now...

Just go on a Kanye hiatus and then come back it's not that hard. Fix your s*** privately and stop giving us that PR bullshit

Kanye didn’t go on hiatus because people died at a concert. His situation was way lighter than this. Damn now you got me remembering how they slaughtered Ye in the media for no f***ing reason. It was a damn MTV award and Taylor swift was acting like she had PTSD lmao

What would that do? Especially when it wasn’t a personal attack made by Travis in the first place

Kanye did something worse than killing people, he stood up to the Grammy’s and publicly criticized the new star poster child of white country music. That’s a death sentence.

While I agree with what you’re saying, but…

The Taylor Swift Incident was Kanye’s, and only Kanye’s fault.

While the Astroworld Festival deaths aren’t really Travis’s fault (that we know of).

Not comparing the severity of them, obviously what happened at Astro was worse by an order of magnitude, just pointing out how at fault each person is.

His situation was lighter than this and he STILL went on a hiatus and took care of, during that time, shutting his mouth along the way.

And then we have Travis Scott and his team who tried to push the needles bullshit, an insanely bad interview with Charlamagne and now man wants to fix concerts instead of focusing on his own s***. Man shut the f*** up, disappear for a minute, let the situation breathe for a minute and then come back with whatever you wanted to say

so instead of changing the culture of his concerts (the only thing an "artist" can and should be doing) he's basically just gonna allow for more security and surveillance companies to monitor his concerts and hope others follow suit ??

lmk if im reading this wrong y'all

I feel like festival organizers were not focusing on developing technologies regarding the safety of concertgoers but were focusing on how to sell the most tickets with the cheapest artists and how much the price of drinks and food could be increased over the next X years without a big backlash. People aren't dying at festivals every year in conditions like these. Out of sight, out of mind. So yeah, at worst, we get this headline. But if Travis Scott wants his PR to have any effect, I'm sure some good ideas could be floated around & implemented.
