For someone with such a radio friendly sound he doesn’t do well with singles tbh they just sound pretty forced and lackluster
He’s an album artist
It’s crazy how he’s never been good at singles his entire career. Even Antidote blowing up was a mistake
Travis always does these drawn out rollouts for singles that are usually of much lesser quality than the album songs, I don’t get it. It’s always months long teasers. He did the same with escape plan and highest in the room
Escape Plan (or Heartbeat which didn't even end up dropping) should have dropped way before.
I was so bored by it by the time it did. Atleast Mafia was cool.

dam this kinda true
and goosebumps being the biggest song on birds , it really was a slow burn. it didn’t even chart crazy iirc
never thought about this

mafia is a banger but yeah all the singles he does promo for end up being his weakest songs

Facts. If we’re being real Antidote being big is what made him switch up his whole sound. His verses in most songs were pretty much still the dark Owl Pharaoh sound and autotune only on the hooks before that song. Then it all changed once he saw the success of it.
Without that song I don’t think the label would’ve even had plans to drop Rodeo ngl he was pretty much just a niche underground artist before that.
man dont don toliver got a song called 4x4
Same way Don has a song called Cinderella just like Future & Travis

fax lol. antidote was really just a soundcloud drop at first crazy. but rodeo was already going to release with or without it
THis song is extremely mid. like not good not bad not saying its bad but damn it sounds like an AI regurgitating a travis scott song
Hopefully the actual single sounds better
Streets hating on this but I really like it
I’ve accepted that not everything is gonna sound groundbreaking to me anymore 🙏🏾 but I’ll always appreciate some ear candy

What streets? This is fireee
I like it. Better than the live performance version lol.
The mix on his vocals is so bad smh
Even that new verse sounds weird lol
