This is how I feel about barbecue. Overbearing and annoying taste. How can you prefer that over anything else as a condiment.
I mean it’s good as a GLAZE on ribs and stuff that’s the only time.

Mayo on the other hand tastes weak like someone that hates mayo can just ignore it on a food. I dont get the hate. And makes every other sauce better
