maybe in terms of production it's the most Ambitious.

but is Astroworld really THAT great of an Album? especially in the world of Rap?
its a great Vibe. it's good mood music. to me an album can be great even when it doesn't have a strong message or even a theme.
but I will always think about why I enjoy an album. to me Astroworld is a good album but not because of Travis or any underlying idea on that album. I love the production and the sound, I enjoy every artist that was featured on Astroworld and the aspect of worlds colliding to the max with how many features are on it.

But its not really a crazy album because of Travis himself. in the way that Rodeo is. To me, I feel like artists put more of themselves into the albums they want to stand out. Astroworld is a good album by Travis standards but not Peak Travis. I don't think its much better than any other Travis Scott album and in some ways is worse.
Definitely not on the level of Monster, Purple Reign, Barter 6, Slime Season 2, or even Evol. in the end its all personal opinion but I just never really bought into the Cult of Astroworld.

well put. idk i got nostalgia blindness out the ass with astro so cant speak impartially. but i do think some of the downplaying of Astro IS because it blew up. Sicko Mode is an awesome song but sadly because it got memed to s*** its kinda hard to stomach.

I do think the moments production and features maybe? outclass trav on his own project, but he put it all together so my thinking is end of the day he gets the credit.

Thats hard to choose but I would say Future is 1st and Travis and Thug are pretty even on their output
