yeah well charts are just one measure of success. lots of songs haven't gone top 40 but have been important for other reasons so matter much more in the long term. i feel like people would be shocked at some of the songs that everyone knows that didn't chart or charted relatively low, then there's tracks everyone's forgotten that go top 5. there's classic songs too that just blow up super slowly other years but now everybody loves.

I was more just saying if there's a trick its probably something like that. I actually think Nicki had a good feature on this track, but by this point 6ix9ine is creating pop culture moments that everyone's gonna tune into when they happen but not songs that can last more than a couple plays. It will be interesting if he can hold people's attention if the music doesn't stick for long, even tho he had lots of controversy when he first came out he also had hits people liked listening to just as songs
