I'm going to be getting rid of my 05 F150 for a more efficient japanese vehicle. Which one of those would be the better purchase.

These aren't my only options- but these are the ones I want.

    NO I'M NOT BROKE

Older trucks just look cooler and appreciate value like crazy and aren't the size of the titanic.

Is this rust too bad? It's not bubbling or has holes.

my dad told me to always have a pickup truck around, because of how you can carry s***

tbh the size is the only thing that i dont like about pick ups, the newer year models specifically

pickups were the perfect size in the 90s

Rust doesn't seem that bad (im not a mechanic). Don't see any flaking

The frame connecting to the wheel looks really dark/bad but I have no idea, the quality is super low of the photo. Would check it out in person.

Where do you live? Do they salt the roads a lot?

Regardless of what you think, I would get a mechanic to come check it out and give you his opinion. That's what I've done every time ive bought a used car and it is

1st gen Tacos in good condition are bloody expensive. If you can afford it, get it. They have a really nice character to them, can’t describe it really, but just be prepared to shell out a lot of money.

Don’t get a Nissan pickup unless it’s a hard body.

And the 1st Gen fords are like all other fords, lacking complete character lol
