Yeah bummed that one never got sequels
rooney mara wanted to do them too
that first movie was immaculate

Yeah she was awesome

Love how the Wheeler case was supposed to be some hushed secret between Danvers and Navarro that was being slowly revealed all season long, but it turns out both Priors and Conley all knew what happened and it is immediately used to blackmail them
laugh out loud moment when during that ending scene with Danvers, Otis, and the Priors in the kitchen having a standoff then just a completely bizarre editing sequence of Navarro driving and she’s just immediately there. This show is so disorienting
if they’re just gonna go with the generic ‘mining company are the big bad’ choice and try and explain away the supernatural elements as the water poisoning the natives, then this season deserves all the slander tbh
I'm 95% sure this is where it's headed. Navarro's "mental illness runs in the family" fear is just a red herring.
Which I mean, wouldn't be the worst "plot twist" in the world if the quality of writing wasn't so abysmal.
I forgot S1 birthed the line "if you get the opportunity you should kill yourself", literally golden TV

Def feel like this will be the explanation
Or similarly to S1, it will be the explanation for a large amount of the supernatural stuff, but they will leave some parts of the mystery ambiguous enough so that in the end it "might" be a supernatural force at work
Like I said previously, I just feel like there's no satisfying way to conclude this plot at this point tbh

Crine
Idk if I like knowing more than what our two main characters know. That car scene felt a lil off in that regard but I'll see how it plays out

It’s the way he says it man
People trashing this and acting like s2 was good
Season 2 is leaps ahead of this in quality.

did you not finish watching the episode before typing this, lol. The explanation for Priors figuring it out makes sense…

nah, the caves are the house of the spider grandmother

But then who tf ‘woke up’
But then who tf ‘woke up’
Like I said, they might leave some elements "unexplained"/possibly supernatural
But stuff like most of the town seeing the dead & taking it for granted, people going crazy like Clark or Otis, they might explain those away with the poisoning part
My theory: The water's contaminated and the whole town is hallucinating...either that or aliens. Also Navarro has a family history of mental illness and head trauma so that could explain her always seeing stuff when she get knocked upside her dome
nah, the caves are the house of the spider grandmother
Bro if they don’t introduce a goddamn legitimate paranormal or supernatural entity in this final episode
“What mysterious creatures lurk in the Night Country… maybe you know? 🫵🤨” - Jodie Foster spiking the camera in the final scene
Was joking about Kylie giving the police a can of Pepsi during the riot/protest scenes and the police legit gave that girl a can of Pepsi a scene later
I hate this show so much man

Nah they have to leave some stuff to interpretation/ open, there’s some that can’t be explained with just the water trope
