jews and muslims lived in a peaceful coexist in Palestine for hundreds of years, in the mid 20th century white European settlers began occupying pieces of the nation and forcing indigenous people off their lands similar to what happened in Africa and the Americas

I'm not for or against cause I have little knowledge of the situation, but saying "no fair" and "give us our land back" are not solutions. Either a deal will need to be made like this one or war, which seemingly would be won by Israel.

Seems like Trump is doing the right thing with this, regardless of the intentions. Negotiations need to be made.

Negotiations have been made for the past couple decades tho. The Israeli government is purposefuly giving out unacceptable terms so that the Palestinians can reject them, and they have an excuse to continue building settlements that dispossesses the natives of the West Bank. To be fair, hamas ultimately wants to destroy Israel, but Israel wants (and is doing) the same to Palestine. Trump is just making it easier for Israel to accelerate the process

Then why do Americans care? Either side has moral superiority over the other in this situation. Israel is the more powerful and has the US on its side therefore they will ultimately succeed.

No but conquering land is something that has always happened throughout history, there are winners and there are losers. We’re not going to go back to the beginning of written history and reverse every piece of stolen land.

Thinking that it’s a matter of fairness or doing the right thing is naive and pointless.

I’m not saying I’m in favor of either side btw
