At the end of the day there are plenty of ways to gain an advantage over the competition (which I believe to be your main concern) whether that’s a personal trainer in their respective sport, the ability to purchase an at home gym for instance, or just better quality food. That’s just sports.

Even if the bone density was the same level as cis girls they were competing against (and assuming the transition process has already begun) and they ended up performing pretty good if not outright winning (hell or even poorly. As long as she beat out a cis person) the conversation would still be that they should not be able to compete. Because they do not actually care about “fairness”
