That "useless" data is used to build profiles about u, ur spending habits and ur beliefs.

Its already been used to try and manipulate ppls political leanings.

1 company gets hacked, and the hackers have access to half your purchase history in the last decade. Ur bank number, ur emails, credit card numbers.

They figure out 1 of ur passwords, and likely have access to half ur s***.

And thats just the obvious illegal s*** thats bound to happen. We cant even fathom how theyre planning to legally f*** us.

Those sound like a lot of natural risk factors which exist when using the internet entirely, but xenophobia will add that "they have bad intentions!!!!" edge to it lol

Manipulation of political opinions literally exit in almost every aspect of the internet, narratives change domain to domain, ad to ad, what makes this any different? Data breaches are again, a very unfortunate, but natural risk factor when using the internet, most ToS will cover this.
