I’m trying to improve my language and the way I handle my anger and this has been the biggest hurdle of it so far. It’s almost magical how effective those words are at releasing sudden bursts of anger that other words can’t match, you know?
edit: obviously I don't mean around parents and elders, I'm talking about at work and other public places etc.
Easy for me. I’ve had to turn that s*** off whenever I’m around my parents or risk getting the black beaten off of me. I’ve got experience.
Try being raised in an African and Muslim household. You have to be Mr. Perfect 24/7 in our culture
huh
op never had soap on his tongue
i was gonna agree but yea i just realized i never curse around family or in professional enviornments
It's kind of easy tbh. But letting out a nice hearty "FUCK" in the right context feels good
Its not hard like at all
I’m trying to curse less as well. Switching it up around family is easy. Trying to maintain it in this goofy ass world and at work is a whole other thing.
kind of crazy that humans have come together to collectively agree that if you utter certain specific combinations of sounds you should feel guilty about it, and it has caused some of the humans to have to focus on not uttering these combinations of syllables so that they can feel better about how they are perceived by other humans

cause it really isn’t that serious to many of us like it just shows honesty, but i guess for others it’s traumatizing because bad things are associated with it in their brain(abuse)

Yes dude thats what I mean, at work and stuff like that. This whole page thinks I'm talking about parents and elders and I'm like dude obviously you shouldn't be swearing around them, tf. I work in a call center and when a rude customer or agent hangs up after being mean as f*** it takes everything in me to not just swear up the whole room
