If you want to talk about the music, I completely agree. 6ix9ine is not on that level. He is on that level when it comes to stirring the pot and that’s what seems OP was trying to say.

True he could but don’t forget pac was 25 when he died and big was 24. They were at the top of their own game when they died. What’s 69s excuse, he’s had 24 years to develop some actual music talent. if I was a gambling man, he ain’t getting much better than he is now which means he’ll probably forever suck in a musicality way. No way around it.

Just get over it 69 is hot garbage who’s 15 mins was extended because he absolutely great at marketing. Marketing ability doesn’t equate to musical ability. And all his song that were hits were complete and utter trash that got boosted by a whole bunch of counter culture kids who think it’s cool to like the opposite of anything that’s the precedent. The fact that a thread like this was even made drawing comparisons between Tupac and 6ix9ine (really just because Tupac was in acting school) when all the information on Tupac's upbringing is all easily available really shows just how dumb and just outright disrespectful KTT users have become.

He actually attended middle school and a high school in Baltimore for two years before transferring to a performing arts school.
Also implying niggas can't pursue the arts just because they in the hood is a bit...strange.
If they have the opportunity and support system to do so then it's not as unlikely as you think. Not everyone in the hood wants to stay in hood. Hood niggas got dreams too.

also sort of unrelated: remember when Tupac was in jail and dropped one of the biggest albums of that time? Sound kinda familiar?
The only difference is tho is that Pac didn't do his gangsta persona until like his 2nd-3rd Album. In his 1st Album he tried to be a conscience rapper but obviously the mainstream rap at the time didn't give af about that so he switch to this party rapper when he got with DU to then eventually become the artist we know him as today when he ended up on Death Row.
