It was during The Roots picnic in Philly.
The Roots performed for what felt like an hour and a half.
Black Thought kept thanking the crowd, but then never stopped rapping. Amazing live performer, amazing breathe control.
Questlove got a BIG back bro. His back was facing me the whole time, I couldn't not see it.
I was sitting next to this oldhead that was rapping every word, that was his Beyoncé.
There was this one comedian that opened up for Dave, I forgot his name unfortunately. He was kind of funny though.
They made him come back to do another set after the second DJ interlude.
Michael Che and John Stewart made a surprise appearances and each did a set.
Michael Che didn't move, stayed in one spot with his hand in his pocket the entire set and made jokes about autistic people and not being able to say the R-Word.
John started with a Biden joke, but then there was a lot of audio issues after the Roots performed, so half the crowd kept telling John that they can't hear him all throughout his set. John was being a good sport about it and blamed it on being old (after telling the crowd to F-off and suck his balls). He told a bit about needing reading glasses to watch p***. Also something about how he thought Kyrie Irving was Jewish. How you shouldn't take Kanye seriously because he wants everyone to forgive Hitler, but can't forgive Pete Davidson. Made a point about how it's harder to adopt a cat than it is to get a AR-15.
Dave finally arrived and then that's when we learned that this was for a Netflix special called "Lunatic's Manifesto"
This n---a really likes wearing them ugly elongated flannels and them chunky Alexander McQueens.
Hecklers kept yelling at him about the audio issues, he started out being about funny it, giving clever clapbacks to the crowd. Accusing the sound guy of sabotage, says this is what he gets for skipping sound check.
He kept stopping and asking the crowd if they can hear him and all that, but you can tell he was getting frustrated. Especially because it kept happening during the more sincere moments of the special.
He kept saying throughout his set that he promised that he wouldn't speak about "them" anymore, but then still kind of did. Told a story about why he kind of sympathizes with "them".
Makes fun of the handicapped and Jewish people instead.
Talks about a video he found on Worldstar about a woman in a wheelchair getting beat up by a able-bodied woman. Explains to the white people of the audience that Worldstar is "like Reddit for black people"
Something about listening to conservative podcasts.
Talked about the trans Olympic swimmer thats breaking every record. Something about woman needing to accept that silver is the new gold for them now.
Said he went to the strip club and left after the stripper told him her real name.
A bit about Scooby-Doo and how it's a allegory for white people not minding they business.
Did some crowd work, talked to an interracial couple. Asked the guy if he can come to their wedding. Asked the woman if he can f--k her friends at the wedding.
Talks about how he cheats on his wife and how he's insecure about the fact that she seemingly doesn't care. Joke ends with a full circle call back about the stripper from earlier.
Talked about Will slapping Chris and compared it to that guy that tried to stab him on stage. Ultimately states that he sympathizes with both and uses the two's situation to monlouge about what it means to be a man. Ending with another full circle callback to women needing to just accept the silver medal.
HE WANTS JOHN STEWART TO RUN FOR PRESIDENT
Drops some F-Bombs
Talks about how this upcoming election feels like picking between two evils again. We're either gonna be in MAGA racist America, or F-Bomb America.
Says he's gonna be fighting for the F-Bombs.
After the show ended, the Roots, John Stewart and everyone else got back on stage for a group photo. While Dave is going around shaking hands, John jokingly holds Dave by the shoulders and starts shaking him... Though done in jest, it was clear Stewart was kind of not happy with Dave putting that idea out there.
Dave made Black Thought freestyle for everyone. Then drops the mic.

He needs to leave the trans jokes be for a while.
Felt like he was beating a dead horse’s skeleton on the last one.

f bombs during pride month
I specifically remember him pointing that out. It was intentional.

Lame folks still gonna rush to his defence about it
I remember that anamorphism user spent every single day for poke 5 months defending those mid jokes
Dave making jokes for twitter blue users
Dave still talking about trans people, yeah ayt
Jon Stewart segment sounds like it was really funny though

The first special with them in it were good but he just kept ragging on them on each special the more thinkpieces that came at him inbetween each special.
Dave strikes me as the type of guy who acts like he doesn’t take criticism to heart when he actually does and feels like he has to prove something now with these trans jokes and it’s making his art suffer. He’s at his best when he’s moving on from the last special and starting afresh on the new one.
@Jerry_Seinfeld is this true?
Saw him live once in 2018/2019 and I didn't enjoy it Wasn't really because of Jewish or LGBT+ jokes, but his set just didn't land. Did a bit about Oscar Pistorious, but Dave did like a Russian accent for some reason. Then he went on and on about Chuck Berry, who nobody in the crowd knew and Dave was talking about how he was peeing on women and s***
Glad Dave put John on the spot about running. Been thinking about this a lot lately. Is it unfair to put such expectations on a person when they've proven they understand America's evils so well? Maybe John is scared that the Daily Show and his lack of public service would be used against him. Idk.

He did a lot of the same jokes when I saw him too! He only briefly mentioned Jon Stewart though, but he said he was a Super Jew

very cool read
i think jon stewarts stand up sounds funny, im not a big fan of post chappelle show dave stand up, this doesnt sound like it will reel me back in
i always felt like dave perpetuates negative stereotypes of blacks
i also think its funny and sad how he is basically a testament to his entire generation of wigged out conspiracy lunatics. its like everyone in his age group is like batshit crazy
he in the "im 45 but i dress like im 23 and all i want to ever talk about is false flag shootings and the lgbtq agenda to brainwash our youth" camp
