Does he? Good for him. We still chat a bit but I've never twittered or podcasted before so I'm in the dark on that.
looking to get into cronenberg i loved videodrome and a history of violence what should i go for next?
should i watch yojimbo, late spring, or still walking
i think im leaning towards that ozu/kore-eda cozy vibe today, but also haven't seen any kurosawa yet and have had yojimbo just chilling in my queue for like 3 months lol
I'm on season 2 of The Wire marathon rewatch. How TF did I have a knee jerk reaction the first time around
The season is beautiful b, low-key one of my favorites rn

Exactly bruh, it's a fantastic season and I'm glad that arc exists. Really adds to the Baltimore scene.
Starting the Sopranos
Wire felt too forced for me but I’ll revisit at some point

You haven’t seen ANY Kurosawa?
Yojimbo is a great entry point (A Fistful of Dollars is basically a remake of that film).
Also recommend Throne of Blood as a follow up, they’re probably Kurosawa’s two most accessible films (Seven Samurai is over 3 hours long, but otherwise that would of course be at the top of the list).
If you wanna see Kurosawa set in more contemporary times I recommend Ikiru.
If you wannna see Marxist based Kurosawa check out Stray Dog and High & Low.

Seen The Fly? The Dead Zone is really good too and definitely one of the better Stephen King adaptations.

idk if its the same term you're looking for but it might be real time? movies like before sunset and locke
has Adam Sandler done anything really bad? Feel like he one of the nicest dudes in Hollywood but also wouldn’t be surprised if he did some “cancelable” s*** during his younger days.
