Oliver Tree took what 21 Pilots did ok and perfected it. Now 21 Pilots has bitten aspects of Oliver Trees sound on some of these songs.

whoa this is pretty good

My biggest issue with this album is that they framed it as a Trench sequel when it's really nothing like Trench sonically or thematically. It's solid, but kind of all over the place in terms of its sound and general vibe. The album cover also doesn't fit the sound of the album at all. There are a few moments on the album that make me cringe, but not nearly as many awkward moments as their pre-Tench albums.

There are definitely positives though. Next Semester is one of my all time favorite songs by them easily. Backslide, Midwest Indigo, Routines in the Night, Navigating, and Snap Back are all great as well.

This album speaks to me. Going through it mentally rn and across the whole runtime are insights i’m gonna hold onto. The way anxiety disorder is described rings so true to me. A truly cathartic listening exp

Yep, it's literally what Blurryface was trying to do almost 10 years ago but with most of the cringe and terrible production completely removed.
