Phillip Jeffries scene in FWWM where he visits the Philly FBI office, you can barely hear the line in the movie but in the Missing Pieces and in The Return you can hear it clearly
Lol I had the voice in my head reading it already but couldn't put my finger on it, love that line so much

Such a classic
Bowie killed those line readings even though he went back and regretted the accent he used.

It legit slips on by like we wouldn't notice
There are theories that retroactively tie this into the changing of timelines caused by Coop in The Return. Cause in one of the Mark Frost books about the town, which are also affected, Annie is never mentioned. My own reasoning is that Annie played the same role that Maddy did, only serving as an avatar for a greater recurring theme. I guess in this case it would be the story of Coop's greatest failure repeating itself. After she's kidnapped, her purpose is fulfilled. With Maddy, I see her as the personification of Laura's spirit (or the spirit of Laura's story) haunting the town. Everyone she meets projecting things onto her, but ultimately ignoring who she really is and what trouble she may be in. Only for the same thing to happen again. After that, nobody even bats an eye.

Yo I love your reasoning tbh thatās a great way to put it
Word? So itās just Secret History? I read that Frost talked about Normas family and almost purposefully omitted her. Thatās interesting. I need to get into those books and stop relying on second hand info.
I feel you. My favorite aspect of this story is Laura and Frostās approach to certain things kinda leaves her a bit high and dry so I havenāt really been motivated to pick them up. Iām also fond of the mystery, I rather lean towards the ambiguous when it comes to things like Judy. The info dump in Part 17 was enough for me.
Downloaded it from someone on KTT2, it's very good
Yo could you send me that?

Yeah in the dossier, they say Annie is like stuck on a loop, only waking out of her fugue state/coma for a couple seconds every year on the anniversary of her black lodge entrance, to say the "good dale is in the lodge" message with a blank stare s*** is fire

thatās wild but I love it. Sad as hell though.
the movie is prequel to the series?
