Please do not refer to it as Season 3, it is:
Twin Peaks: THE RETURN
actually, iirc Showtime or Lynch never referred to it as "The Return", p sure someone in the press gave it that nickname and the rest of the press just rolled with it.
I like Windom Earle.
don't mind the windom earle plot that much since it comes in towards the end of the s2 "slump"

Yea the plot itself is decent, I wouldāve liked more focus on Briggs and other lodge lore, which we probably wouldāve gotten with an original third season, but I think Earle as a character worked really well with the material at hand, especially with Lynch direction in the finale.
There was some untapped potential with him

Me too man
Heās one of my favorite fictional characters by far, and even with his kinda limited screen time, his presence is so strong.

I love how behind the scenes his journeys to and from the White Lodge were, but I really wish we saw more of this heaven like area from that pic. It probably wouldāve been related to the mauve zone and the 30s room like the dark woods are to the convenience store

Chill, man. You're only one episode in. Give the show some time to settle before you go around calling it a masterpiece, damn.
