There is no context where violence of that scale, spurred on by 3000 year old texts, is justified.

Religious tolerance is fine and all until we start tolerating brutal fundamentalists regimes. There are non-violent islamist sects and even states but Hamas is not one of them.

I understand civilians have to participate in the they live in, but just like when the US votes in Trump again and we have to deal with the consequences of voting in a literal dictator- why vote in Hamas and be surprised when a brutal terrorist regime starts terrorizing things?

Killing Sinwar does nothing. Another will assume and more generations will be forced to assume the responsibility for a war with no real winner
