No offense but thats literally just you, 99% of the time its jokes. On twitter it happens more frequently, ive seen countless times good arguments not being discussed because someone would ratio them. Also, i think some of us still have discussions with you despite that gif being posted, its not like people ignore your posts altogether after that

This Same can be said for Twitter

And yeah a lot do ignore my posts after the fact lol

this is a job for parents and teachers

You'd be surprised. Parents have little impact on who their kids grow up to be.

Kids socialize other kids. A lot of kids look up to this clown. He's acting oblivious to the importance of his platform.

Wouldn’t be mad at a guy with a platform that large to a majority white crowd to speak out about issues but it’s 100% not his responsibility to do so

ur right too, what you said might go to show how oblivious people are that their parents don't have nearly as much impact nowadays

wondering if that's a failing on their part, or struggling to adapt into a constantly changing social environment that their kids are around

this whole idea of using your “platform” is so stupid imo

if someone is famous all they have to do is make sure they operate within the confines of the law OR within acceptable levels of societal standards (i.e. don’t be racist or discriminatory).

all that extra s*** isn’t their responsibility, simply because, their “platform” is just that - theirs

they don’t have to operate or bend to whatever society thinks they should bend to. and yes that includes teaching other people’s children right from wrong

the only responsibility ninja has is to make sure racism doesn’t live on his platform - and it doesn’t (to my knowledge), because twitch is heavily moderated

The fact parents have little impact on who their kids grow up to be is why America has as many issues as they do with racism, sexism, mental health, d****, alcohol, homicide, etc.

Too many s***ty humans in this country that shouldn't be parents

That last sentence is unnecessary tbh. Kids just idolize celebrities and don’t see them as humans but more like God figures. It’s just how young kids are and which it’s important for celebrities to use their platform to call out s***. A teen who say racist s*** might think differently if they see someone they look up to talking down on that type of s***. He’s a gamer so I know he know what’s up with racism in that community.

He doesn’t have to do anything but if you’re influential in a racist community, use that clout to speak up and spread awareness.

Why does every entertainer have to be a social justice advocate? There are plenty of professionals who don't feel comfortable in speaking up on these issues. Perhaps Ninja wants to stream because he loves video games and he is really good at them, but since when does he have to be a politician?

And I really do feel strongly about this because I feel a lot of artforms have started to become polluted by forced social justice messages by corporations and influencers scared of social media and their reputation being tarnished because they didn't make it abundantly clear that they cosign all these beliefs. And way more often than not, the way they force these messages into their art always devalues it and makes it feel so much more as a shameless cash cow product rather than a genuine experience.

I applaud the f*** out of Ninja for keeping politics out of his content. It shouldn't be his job to force feed some recycled twitter SJW post to his fans. That is a parent or a teacher's job. People in this country elected Trump, but now the people are going to get on Ninja's back and call him racist and sexist because hes not teaching kids that racism is bad? I'm f***ing sick

Y’all making it a deeper issue than it is, we’re just in a climate where if you got influence on a group of people you use it to spread awareness. People aren’t just letting folks stand by and not speak up on social issues any more. It’s a new era and y’all just need to accept it and get over it and stop crying about sjw s***. Just a lil 10 second word with his fanbase is more than enough. The fact that people have an issue with dude just saying “y’all racism is bad, never be that way” is VERY telling.

Mans a gamer. Let him game

you want him to start teaching his fanbase how to do fractions too?

It shouldn't have t be his job to get political

Many people go to entertainment to escape the real world and not be lectured about social justice and politics

He’s a member of a VERY racist gaming community tho nobody is saying preach the whole stream but aint nothing wrong with a few seconds to address the racism in his community. I’m sure the black gamers in his community use gaming as a way to escape too but they gotta deal with racism....

if Ninja really just spent like 20 seconds to address this, he would be called a racist spoiled white kid on twitter for not really meaning what he said because he barely spent any time on it.

These white SJWs hate anybody that isn't constantly preaching politics 24/7 that sway in their favor. They would hate somebody that shared 99% of their beliefs just because that 1% is different.

End of the day, not every entertainer has to be a role model. People are entitled to not want to support him for not wanting to be an activist, but he has every right to not be one. He would simply be stepping into a rabbit hole trying to please twitter SJWs

Eh, we’ll have to respectfully agree to disagree. I just feel like if you see a problem within your space you should at least say it’s wrong. I feel like the only people that would have an issue are the people who don’t care about racism because it doesn’t effect them. He’d get support from the effected groups, that’s a guarantee. But this isn’t going to get anywhere. I do see where you’re coming from at least.
