I feel like blm got co-opted by non black people as statement that means “I’m not racist”. They got to have their conscience be clean without having to actually support black people.

sadly it wasnt effective enough to completely change the sociopolitical landscape, but that doesnt take away from the fact that jim crow was repealed, the civil rights act of 1964 was enacted, we got s*** like affirmative action etc.

Maybe u could argue the indian liberation protests were more effective, but guess what, those were also largely peaceful....

with that said, nothing he’s talking about has anything to do with BLM as a political organization nor as a cultural movement.

I have no issue with him not supporting the movement that is black lives matter but to devalue your own race based on "black on black" violence and because they talk bad about you on the internet is lame.
