because its not just about "fucking her now" its about there being something meaningful to that intimacy to me that is unsettled and disrupted by everyone having seen my girlfriend with another man's genitals inside of her, and by her knowing that all her future partners would know that everyone knows it too

i don't even like to say it like that because it's the kind of thing where i can't say why it would bother me without implying it should bother everyone equally

but i'm truly not saying someone shouldn't be fine with their partner having done p*** if it doesn't bother them

maybe i am even being stodgy

but regardless, your partner having done p*** and the gory details of it being on the world wide web is not the same thing as them having had s***with someone else and me only knowing about it in an abstract sense

i do try to manage my sexual jealousy, when it happens, and put it in perspective, and if it's unfair, to reorder my way of thinking, but i think there are levels to it, and totally not caring strikes me as anhedonic

in a world where s***can be a purely unemotional thing detached from intimacy, jealousy, love, and attachment, yeah, it would be no big thing

but we don't live in that world, or at least, i don't want to live in it
