Sparrow is incredible, sounds like an unfurling evolution of Two Hands. Adrianne's voice sounds uniquely commanding in a way that feels completely new, more fluid. Gunna spin this a bunch for the rest of the night

anyone in NY going to the gov ball show? I'd love to but dont really want to shell out 200+ if i only really want to see them. Holding out for the Adrianne solo show in November instead

I could never get into this band and they put on one of the worst live shows I've ever seen

Love the sonic direction of Little Things.

They had no chemistry on stage and didn't seem super in sync when playing. And for a few times there would be a "guitar solo" and it legit was hurting my ears

I've seen over 200 artists live and they definitely stick out as one of the worst I've seen. That was in 2018 so maybe they've improved but idk

never seen them live but that sucks

Saw them live in 2020. Amazing show. Def one of the top indie rock band these days

can’t believe i saw them open for frankie cosmos in 2017, had never heard of them and they vastly outperformed frankie. crazy seeing them get to where they are now.

probably fall I would guess, i'm sure they have multiple albums locked n loaded considering how Adrienne Lenker writes

I talked to their drummer before a show in 2019 and he said they were going to write/record music in multiple locations throughout 2020 (which obviously didn't happen because of the pandemic), but I'm willing to bet that's what they've been doing this year

I'd assume top of next year. Adrianne and buck meek's solo tours last through December iirc so there's probably another big thief tour in the works after

btw if anyone's going to buck or Adrianne's solo shows in ny this fall lmk
